WORLDIA MANANOVA PCD Turning Inserts
MANANOVA PCD inserts are fast-delivery superhard turning inserts designed primarily for non-ferrous machining (ISO N) where surface quality, wear resistance, and process stability are critical. The portfolio includes standard shapes and optional chip-control concepts such as laser-made chipbreakers to improve chip breaking in finishing—helping avoid long, stringy chips in aluminium and similar materials.
Why these inserts
-
Fast delivery, easy ordering for common ISO turning applications
-
Non-ferrous focus (ISO N) for aluminium alloys and other NF materials requiring clean cutting
-
Chip control options including lasered chipbreaker designs for improved chip breaking in finishing
-
Grade choice by application with PCD structures tuned for toughness vs. abrasion resistance
Typical PCD grade options (application-driven)
-
PD01E (fine grain ~1 µm): high impact and abrasion resistance; suitable for finishing and interrupted cutting in aluminium; also used for wood/MDF applications
-
PD10E (universal grade): balanced toughness and wear resistance; a common first choice for many non-ferrous applications
-
PD32E (mixed micro-diamond 2–30 µm): very high abrasion resistance and good thermal stability; suited for abrasive materials such as MMC and high-Si aluminium alloys
Typical insert families
MANANOVA covers common ISO turning shapes and sizes (e.g., C-, D-, V-, T-style inserts) for standard finishing and general turning in non-ferrous materials, with matching chipbreaker / face styles depending on the insert family.
